How Women Become Political Video

Earlier this week, Political Parity – along with several hundred others – attended the 175^thcommemoration of the first American woman to speak before a legislative body. The event, ‘How Women Become Political,’ displayed the diverse political paths of five incredible female leaders — and former Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey.

Each woman spoke about that pivotal moment in her life when she saw politics as a way of creating an impact. The importance of mentors, highlighted in our latest study, was mentioned repeatedly. We strongly encourage you to take the time to hear directly from the women themselves.
